Celebrities have always been attracted to Morocco by its vibrant culture, breathtaking scenery, and opulent lodgings. Several well-known celebrities have relocated to Morocco in recent years, either permanently or temporarily. Just a few instances are shown below:

Salma Hayek: The Mexican-American actress and producer has a unique connection to Morocco because both her mother and father are from Spain and Lebanon, respectively. Hayek has purchased a villa in Morocco and has spent time there filming various motion pictures and television shows. She is well renowned for her admiration of Moroccan culture and has frequently expressed her love for the nation.

Hugh Jackman: The best-known Australian performer for playing Wolverine in the X-Men film series also calls Morocco home. While he was filming “Eddie the Eagle,” Jackman and his family spent many months in the nation and fell in love with the people and culture there. Since then, Jackman has bought a home in Morocco and frequently travels there.

Janet Jackson: The renowned performer and actress now resides in Morocco, at least on occasion. Early in the new millennium, Jackson bought a villa near Marrakech, where he now frequently vacations. Robert De Niro: The renowned actor now resides in Morocco, if only on occasion. De Niro and his wife, Grace Hightower, bought a villa in Marrakech and have been visiting the city periodically for a while now. De Niro has gushed over Morocco’s food and friendliness as well as how much he loves the country’s culture and history.

Paul McCartney: The former Beatle now resides in Morocco, if only on occasion. For the past few years, McCartney and his wife Nancy Shevell have intermittently visited Morocco from their villa they bought in Marrakech. McCartney has expressed his appreciation for Morocco’s natural beauty, rich culture, and tranquil atmosphere.

Yves Saint Laurent was a well-known fashion designer who frequently traveled to Morocco and even lived there for a time. Saint Laurent fell in love with the culture and fashion of the nation, and many of his collections have elements of Moroccan design. In addition, he was renowned for hosting extravagant gatherings in his Moroccan home and inviting international luminaries and celebrities.

These are just a few of the numerous famous people who now reside in Morocco. It’s no surprise that Morocco has become such a well-liked travel destination for celebrities given the breathtaking landscapes, rich culture, opulent lodgings, and warm hospitality.
